Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Training
The Municipality of San Manuel, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in partnership with J2AID Training Center Inc. and the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC), successfully conducted the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Training from July 15–19, 2026.
The five-day training provided participants with comprehensive instruction in emergency medical response, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, bleeding control, spinal immobilization, patient transport, and other essential pre-hospital emergency care skills. Through lectures, simulations, and hands-on practical exercises, participants developed the competence and confidence needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
This initiative reflects the Municipality’s continued commitment to strengthening emergency preparedness and developing capable first responders who are ready to serve and save lives in times of need.
