MAYOR DONYA TESORO JOINS HOUSE COMMITTEE MEETING ON CLIMATE RESILIENCE

Mayor Donya Tesoro of San Manuel, Tarlac, participated in the Joint Meeting of the Committee on Higher and Technical Education and the Committee on Climate Change at the House of Representatives of the Philippines.

The meeting focused on the deliberation of proposed measures seeking to establish and institutionalize the University of the Philippines National Climate Resilience Institute. The initiative aims to strengthen the country’s capacity for climate resilience through research, innovation, education, and evidence-based policymaking.

Mayor Tesoro’s participation reflects the Municipality of San Manuel’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development, climate adaptation, and stronger partnerships toward building resilient communities and a more future-ready Philippines.
